IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM HILGRAEVE, INC. REGARDING DROPCHUTE (ENTERPRISE, PRO, and LITE)

Dear DropChute – Enterprise, Pro, Lite and DropChute+ customer or Reseller,

For more than 12 years, Hilgraeve, Inc. has sold and supported our DropChute suite of products allowing customers to experience the benefits of personal file delivery software. In recent years however, our sales of these products have declined significantly as the marketplace for such file transfer has eroded thanks in large part to competing browser-based technologies. These newer tools have had the natural effect of reducing the commercial viability of the DropChute suite of products.

Given this reality, we are announcing today that official support for DropChute will be discontinued on January 1, 2011. We will discontinue selling or supporting the product at that time. We will support and operate the LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) server / connection point, to the best of our ability, until December 31, 2011.

Hilgraeve is grateful for your use and support of DropChute over the years. We believe that if you decide to stay on your existing Microsoft operating system you should be able to continue to operate, as you do today, until the end of 2011. We do recommend, however, that you begin to explore alternative solutions to DropChute as soon as possible.
